What Is CDCP Dental Care?
The CDCP is intended to help Canadians without workplace or private dental coverage access regular dental care. You can apply for the CDCP online through the Government of Canada at canada.ca/dentalwhere you’ll also find detailed eligibility information. What Does CDCP Cover?
Covered services include preventive care like scaling, polishing, sealants, and fluoride treatments, as well as diagnostic exams, restorative dental work, endodontics, prosthodontics, periodontal care, and oral surgery. Not all dental services are included, and patients may owe additional costs depending on their co-payment tier. The CDCP is designed to complement, not duplicate, any benefits you already receive from provincial government programs, and may provide additional support for uncovered services.

Getting Started with Your CDCP Benefits
Once you are approved for the CDCP, Health Canada will send you confirmation through Sun Life, the plan administrator. As soon as you receive confirmation, you can start using your CDCP dental care benefits at our clinic. We encourage you to keep up with your regular checkups and not delay any dental care while you wait.
